Mozart chocolate originated in Salzburg, Austria. Known for its soft,
melt-in-your-mouth dark chocolate and a filling of marzipan, almonds, and
pistachios, Mozart chocolate is easily recognizable by its vibrant portrait of
Mozart on the packaging. Due to its unique flavor and exquisite appearance, it
has become one of Austria's most famous souvenirs. However, there are actually
three different brands of Mozart chocolate. This time, we tried Mirabell, a
brand commonly found in Austrian supermarkets at a relatively affordable
price.

However, the chocolate factory ceased operations in December 2024. In the
future, Fürst or Reber may take over the leading position in the Mozart
chocolate market, replacing Mirabell.

Ingredients: Sugar, cocoa mass, palm oil, hazelnuts (9.5%), cocoa butter, whey
powder (from milk), almonds (2.5%), glucose syrup, butterfat, lactose, low-fat
cocoa powder, humectant (sorbitol), emulsifier (soy lecithin), pistachios,
flavoring, stabilizer (transglutaminase), whole milk powder. Cocoa content:
minimum 46% in chocolate. May contain other nuts, peanuts, and wheat.
