其中一個活動就是自己動手做葫蘆夜燈，一個價格不便宜，製作也不限時間，可以自行使用電鑽筆在小葫蘆上刻上屬於自己的圖樣，來到這裡發現空地還蠻大的，停車也還蠻方便的。 
在接近聖誕節前夕，杉林區區公所舉辦了一系列的特別活動，都在這個杉林區市集附近，這裡販賣的東西價格都還蠻便宜的，有舉辦的話可以來這裡挖挖寶。

One of the activities is making your own gourd nightlight. The price is not cheap, but there is no time limit for making it. You can use an electric drill pen to engrave your own design on the small gourd. When I arrived here, I found that the open space is quite large, and parking is also quite convenient.
老闆非常的親切，店內有許多精緻的葫蘆作品，有些藏品也都價格不菲，可以好好欣賞一下老師的巧手手藝。

老師大概講解了電鑽筆的正確使用方式，就讓我們自己發揮創意了，基本上我們總共花了兩個小時才完成我們的作品。
The teacher briefly explained the correct usage of the electric drill pen, and then let us use our creativity. In general, it took us two hours to complete our work.
記得葫蘆作品雕刻時要留足夠的邊，不然會整塊掉下來成為一個空心，就像我所雕刻的「璋」的「日」已經不見了。
Remember to leave enough edge when carving gourd works, otherwise the whole piece will fall off and become hollow. Just like the "日" in the "璋" that I carved is gone.
完成製作後，老師會協助幫我們黏上底座，回家將燈泡固定完成後，就是個有著個人特色的小夜燈了，還有專門用來裝葫蘆燈的小紙盒，很可愛。
After completing the production, the teacher will help us glue the base. After fixing the light bulb at home, it is a small night light with personal characteristics. There is also a small paper box specially used to hold gourd lamps, which is very cute.
