The a Chi Shang lunch box shop has really consistent dishes. Every time I come here, the food tastes the same, which is a good thing. Especially their crispy chicken leg rice plate. The chicken skin is crispy, the meat is tender, and the rice is chewy. It's the perfect combination. For only $90 NTD, you get a huge chicken leg. It's such a great deal!

On October 8, 2019, I had a braised pork chop rice dish for NT$85. The pork chops were tender and had a good texture. However, the flavor was a bit too salty on its own. Eating it with rice helped to balance out the saltiness. Overall, the tender pork chops were the highlight of the dish, but I recommend eating it with rice for the best flavor.

I've tried quite a few dishes at 'Yi Jia Chi Shang Rice Box' and they're all pretty good. My personal favorites are the signature rice box, the scallion-fried salty pork rice box, and the crispy chicken leg. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for students and office workers. However, some dishes might taste different to different people, so I recommend trying a few to find your favorite.
